It can be used as a normal light during the availability of power and as a backup light when there is no availability of electricity. Light on and off can be controlled with the regular switch in the home/office even in the absence of electricity.
it has a 3-step brightness mode, the lowest brightness mode offers up to 12 hours of light backup and the highest brightness mode offers up to 4 hours of light backup in case of electricity failure. All modes can be adjusted via your home regular switches by turning them on and off during power failure.
